Rockin' Moroccan Crumbed Lamb Chops with a Mint Yoghurt Dressing
Golden, crispy crumbed lamb chops coated in our Rockin' Moroccan blend, finished with a cool, creamy minted yoghurt dressing made with Lamb Salt Rocks. Big flavour, simple to make, and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients
Lamb Chops
- Rockin' Moroccan Rub
- 3 Tbsp Milk
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Cups Fresh Breadcrumbs (can use GF)
- Large handful Fresh Mint leaves, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp Fresh coriander, finely chopped, (replace with more mint, or another herb if you don't like coriander)
- 1 tsp finely grated lemon zest
- 4 Tbsps Spicecraft's Rockin' Moroccan Rub
- Spicecraft's Pimped Pepper or Original Salt Rocks, a good shake or grind.
- 12 Lamb Loin Chops (about 1kg) or Lamb Cutlets
- ½ Cup Olive oil
Mint Yoghurt Dressing
- ½ Cup Greek yoghurt
- 1 tsp finely grated lemon zest
- 1 Tbsp Italian parsley, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
- Spicecraft's Lamb Salt Rocks - a good grind to taste.(If you don't have our Lamb Salt Rocks, you should! But if you don't you can use our Original Salt Rocks, or our Smokey Garlic Salt)
Instructions
Lamb Chops
- Generously sprinkle the Rockin' Moroccan rub all over the lamb chops, you want to coat the whole chop, so that the egg mixture sticks to it.
- In a seperate bowl, light beat the milk and the eggs together, set aside.
- In another seperate bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, mint, coriander, lemon zest, Rockin' Moroccan Rub, and the Pimped Pepper or the Original Salt Rocks.
- Dip each Lamb chop that has been coated in Rockin' Moroccan Rub into each of the two other bowls, starting with the egg mixture, then the breadcrumb mixture. Make sure each chop is well coated in egg and breadcrumbs.
- Heat the olive oil in a large fry pan over a medium heat. Fry the lamb in batches, so not to overcrowd the pan. Cook lamb chops for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown. Serve with the Mint Yoghurt dressing, and a crisp salad, roast veges, or even mashed potatoes.
Mint Yoghurt Dressing
- Mix everything together, season with Lamb Salt Rocks to taste. Serve drizzled over the lamb chops. Serve and enjoy.
Notes
If you don't have our Rockin' Moroccan blend, our Crackin' Kiwi, Kia ora Vietnam, Maize'in' Mexican, Jammin' Jerk or our Cravin' Cajun Rubs can be used instead.
They all work well and will just give you a different flavour profile.
