Cheesy Cauliflower Steaks


  • A whole cauliflower head
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp of Crackin' Kiwi Rub.
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Grated mozzarella
  • No Bagel No Bagel seasoning and chopped parsley to taste


  1. Take a nice firm cauliflower, cut it into slices (steaks) about 2-3 cm thick - try to keep the slices together, - this can be a little tricky if your cauliflower is not firm enough.
  2. To make an oily paste. In a small bowl mix together, 1/4 cup of olive oil and 1 Tbsp of Crackin' Kiwi Rub.
  3. Lay the cauliflower steaks in a shallow oven dish or oven tray, brush the paste mixture generously onto both side of the cauliflower and then, sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese. 
  4. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius until tender (15-20 min), then top with some grated mozzarella and a good sprinkle of our No Bagel No Bagel blend.
  5. Pop the steaks back in the oven for another 5 mins or until the cheese melts.
  6. Sprinkle with some finely chopped parsley and serve, delicious! 

Alternately cut the cauliflower into small florets instead of slices, pack into an oven dish as a single layer. cook the same way as the steaks and serve as a side dish.
